The Egyptian wins the award for the first time since October 2023 and has now claimed the prize six times, the joint-most by a Liverpool player, going level with Steven Gerrard.
He is also one away from equalling Harry Kane and Sergio Aguero, who have won the award more times than anyone else in Premier League history (seven).
And Salah has continued his fine form into December, scoring three goals and laying on a further two assists in their fixtures against Newcastle United and Manchester City.
