Opting to bowl first, Team C were on the money, right from the word go, and troubled the batters bowling disciplined line and lengths. 

India had last defeated nemesis Australia way back in the 1972 Munich Olympics before the playing surface shifted to astroturf.

Gautham, Choudhary, Prema, Sneh Rana and Henrietta Pereira all picked up two wickets each to bundle Team E to 147/10 in 47.7 overs. 

Chasing down an easy target, Tripti Singh got her team to a good start, only for Bhatia to better the batting performance, eventually taking the side to victory in 31.3 overs.
